Guidance on the use of PPA

1. Preparation of PPA plastic masterbatch

1.1 Clean the twin-screw extruder. Special plastic manufacturers

1.2 After mixing LLDPE particles (95%) and PPA powder (5%) of the same trademark evenly, participate in the twin-screw extruder, extrude and granulate to prepare PPA master batch with 5% PPA content. The key to this step is to make PPA particles form excellent looseness in LLDPE matrix.

2. Film blowing comments

2.1 Clean the film blower.

2.2 Blow the film with LLDPE of the same trademark. After the machine is stable, gradually increase the screw speed until defects appear, such as die buildup and/or shark skin. Record the process parameters at this time, such as screw speed (S0), torque, die pressure, current and power of the extruder, etc.

2.3 Do not change the screw speed (S0) at this time, and participate in the experiment of PPA master batch. It is recommended to use a large increase, such as 1000ppm, so that the coating balance of PPA can be achieved quickly and the effect can be observed. Taking 1000ppm as an example, 98% LLDPE and 2% PPA masterbatch (concentration 5%) are required. After the two are mixed evenly, participate in the film blowing machine for film blowing. After a period of time, the coating of PPA is balanced, and the effect can be observed, such as the reduction or disappearance of die buildup and/or shark skin. Record the process parameters at this time, and compare with the parameters in 2.2.

2.4 The screw speed (S0) can be maintained to gradually reduce the increase of PPA. For example, from 1000ppm → 750ppm → 500ppm......, this can confirm the small increase of zui in which PPA works. PPA

2 First aid methods

3 Fire fighting methods

Contact hazard during combustion: This substance will not burn. Thermal decomposition will occur in contact with intense heat. Prevent dust from raising, reduce dust ignition or explosion, and there is a risk of static electricity ignition during operation and application.
